For an effective application of Satthwa Indigo powder, start by mixing the powder with an equal amount of hot water to form a thick paste, letting it sit for at least 30 minutes to release its dye, resulting in a bluish-black layer on top. Once at normal room temperature, apply the indigo paste on a clean scalp, preferably on washed hair, ensuring complete coverage. Leave the indigo on for the recommended 3-4 hours to allow oxidation and the development of its dark color. Thoroughly rinse out the indigo with water, and it's advisable to wait at least 2 days before using shampoo or conditioner on your hair. This process ensures optimal results and a lasting indigo hue.
