Organic Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint essential oil, extracted from the leaves of the Mentha piperita plant, is known for its invigorating and refreshing properties. One of its primary components, menthol, provides a cooling sensation, making it a favourite for relief from headaches and muscle soreness. It also boasts notable antispasmodic qualities, which can be beneficial for those experiencing digestive discomfort or muscle cramps. Additionally, peppermint oil's sharp scent has been found to enhance focus, reduce feelings of fatigue, and even alleviate the symptoms of congestion due to its expectorant properties.

The multifaceted nature of peppermint essential oil allows it to shine in various applications. In aromatherapy, its crisp scent can be diffused to create an atmosphere of alertness and sharpen concentration. For topical applications, blending it with a carrier oil and massaging it onto the temples or the back of the neck can provide swift relief from headaches. A drop or two in a glass of water can serve as a natural mouthwash, capitalizing on its antibacterial properties to freshen breath. Furthermore, when applied to the skin, it imparts a cooling sensation, making it a popular addition to foot creams and muscle rubs, especially after intense physical activity.

Important: Genuine Peppermint oil comes from Mentha Piperita. In India, Cornmint which is an inferior and much less expensive oil which comes from Mentha Arvensis is sold as peppermint oil. Cornmint is an inferior oil in odour, flavour, and therapeutic value. We sell 100% Organic Peppermint oil (Mentha Piperita)
