Can Tea Tree oil be directly applied to the skin?
Never ingest or apply tea tree oil directly to the skin. Essential oils are highly concentrated so they must always be diluted before applying topically. Mix 5-6 drops of organic tea tree oil with carrier oils like Jojoba oil, Coconut oil or Almond oil and apply on acne for spot treatment. Alternatively, you can also mix the oil with cream, rose water and aloe vera gel.
