Biotin for hair growth

Best Biotin In India

Beautiful looking hair is a sign of a healthy body and proper hair care regime. Some people have a nutritious diet, whereas some do not have access to proper nutrition. Also, many people have medical issues that put them at the risk of nutritional deficiency, which influences scalp/body hair.

The effects of nutrition are indirect and often slow to appear. Hair, especially, is slow to respond to any other stimulus. The speed of hair growth is based on gender, age, hormones, etc. It may be reduced by nutrient deficiency like vitamins, iron, zinc, etc and menopause, polycystic ovaries, etc (in women). Hair nutrition is, therefore, an essential part of our life. Keeping this in mind, we have recently launched our BIOTIN dietary supplement.

Why use Satthwa’s BIOTIN dietary supplement?

  • Contains 30 mcg of Biotin
  • Includes Zinc Sulphate
  • Good for hair, nails, and skin
  • 100% vegetarian tablets
  • Gluten-free

Biotin for hair

Hair loss is a symptom of biotin deficiency. Biotin supplement is thought to improve your body’s keratin infrastructure. Keratin is the protein responsible to make up your hair, skin, and nails. Biotin has Vitamin B7 that helps in promoting hair growth. It thickens hair, stimulates growth and adds shine to your hair. Besides, it also does wonders to your nails and skin.

Zinc for hair growth

Zinc is an important part of nutrition and necessary for your immune system. It is effective in many ways for your body like for treating diarrhoea, common cold, etc. It also plays a vital role in wound healing.

Other than this, zinc plays an important role for your hair too. It helps in tissue growth, premature greying and calms the hormonal balance which prevents your hair from shedding. Satthwa’s BIOTIN dietary supplement includes 25% of Zinc Sulphate (elemental zinc 3mg), which is a special characteristic of this biotin supplement. Zinc deficiency leads to hair loss. So, make sure to include enough zinc in your diet to boost hair growth.

Biotin rich foods

Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin that is responsible for energy metabolism. Vegans are generally at most risk of biotin deficiency. Following are the items which can help you get away with it:

  • Banana
  • Soybeans and other legumes

How long till you see results?

Benefits of biotin won’t be noticeable until you have increased its consumption for several months. If you are increasing your consumption through biotin-rich foods, you need to eat them daily. However, if you are taking biotin supplements, it is important that you take them daily, or as directed by your doctor, to see better results.

Biotin side-effects

Possible side effects of ingesting too much biotin supplements may include skin rashes, indigestion, kidney problems, etc (Might happen with supplements which are 5000 / 10000 mcg) You should always check with your doctor before adding a new supplement to your diet. Your doctor may also provide more information about the dosage and let you know other side effects too. @Deepak, FSSAI has stated that daily recommended dosage for biotin is 30mcg which is enough for an adult, consuming over 30 mcg does not help as it is a water-soluble vitamin and gets washed from the body. Hence 30 mcg will be just as effective as 10,000 mcg without any side-effects.
