We are all upset with pimples. Changes in the weather and manipulations of skin products fill our face with pimples in minutes only. Irrespective of the skin type, these pimples occur to everyone and leave stains. Each of us has different types of pimple but everyone takes the same kind of treatment which is wrong! If pimples are different then their treatment should also be different. To treat them correctly, it is important to understand their type.

Blackheads

Unlike the blackheads on the nose, these occur above the pimples. They are also known as open comedones. In this, the mouth of a pimple is open and it is not swollen like other pimples. So, to get rid of this, the first thing you need to do is to cure it with antiseptic cream. If the problem still persists, it is advised to consult a dermatologist.

Whiteheads

The light white layer on the upper side of the pimple is also called closed comedones. They are tough to touch and can also be cured by applying antiseptic cream.

Papules

These are the small pimples on the face which are red in colour and are very itchy. These occur due to the closure of the pores of the face. It is better to not touch them again and again. Papules can be corrected by applying antiseptic cream. It would be better if the cream is prescribed by a dermatologist.

Nodules

These are the thick red pimples on the face whose opening point is not visible from anywhere. The more nodules you get, the more is your skin damaged internally. Most nodules do not have pus, they are very hard. They can only be cured with medicines. So treat them only with the medicines prescribed by a dermatologist.

Pustules

These pimples appear light yellow in colour from outside. However, it can be cured by carefully removing the pus from it. But sometimes, bacteria coming out of these pustules can also spread germs on the surrounding skin. That is why it is better to get them fixed by a specialist.

Cyst

This is another dangerous form of acne called cyst is not outside the skin but inside. The skin looks swollen from the outside. The pimple grows inside the skin due to which the skin is swollen and it is very painful. This type of pimple can be treated by a skin specialist by looking into the depth of the pimple. They can eliminate pus with the use of drugs or some other techniques.
